Fishing for muskie on Lake of the Woods, specifically Sabaskong Bay is as good as it gets. It's stained waters are noted for its abundance of muskie and numerous world class trophies, Lake of the Woods still proves to be one of the best waters for trophy musky fishing. Every year proves to be better than the last. Our groups are experiencing greater numbers and better quality fish. Countless fish are over 40" are boated on a regular basis and many in the 50" to 55" range. But every now and then guests will come in when only the look in their eye can tell the story of what they had just raised. A fish that is measured by points in their boat and not the measuring stick. This is what keeps people coming back year after year! So many trophy fish are boated literally within sight of our dock meaning you don't have to travel far for success.  Many outdoor writers believe that the next world record will come out of these waters. If you can wait for late season fishing I strongly recommend September and October. You won't be disappointed!!

There are many types of fishing challenges awaiting you. Obviously there are better times of year for the specie you desire, so look through the following section to see what time of year might be best for you!
