Jon McBride and his wife, Heyoung, own a small island with their summer home about 12 miles from Nestor Falls, Ontario on Lake of the Woods about 10 minutes away by boat from Matheson Bay.
Jon retired from the US federal law enforcement community. Heyoung is a physician specializing in radiation oncology and a cancer research. The McBride’s make their US home in Florida.
Several years ago the Matheson Bay cabin and 142 Acres of forest and ponds were purchased with the idea of sharing this remote refurbished cabin site with people that like to fish, hunt, swim or just enjoy the pristine outdoors of Lake of the Woods.
